Sanford and Son TV Show T-Shirts & Merchandise
The storyline of the series revolves around a man in his 60s – Fred - who collects junk and resells it for a profit. His son – Lamont – is also a part owner of the business and he seems to do all the legwork, such as going out and finding the junk to resell. Lamont and Fred constantly have arguments which are usually ended by Fred either exclaiming “You big dummy!” or by faking a heart attack by clutching his heart and shouting, “You hear that, Elizabeth? I’m coming to join you!” There were other great characters throughout the series that had recurring roles, too. The two police officers added a touch of hilarity as did Bubba and Grady. But the biggest laughs usually occurred when Aunt Esther was involved in a scene. Fred would always have a way to insult her ugliness and she would shoot right back with an insult of her own, usually calling him a heathen or a crotchety old man.
